When I was little and I thought about how cool the future was gonna be, I always pictured three things; 1) Flying cars, 2) Holographic videogame rooms and 3) TVs you could hang on the wall like pictures. All we got so far are the wall TVs, which were pretty much the least exciting of the three, but at least it's a start. Plus, they are even cooler than I ever imagined they would be, like this one that doubles as a mirror when it's not on. I totally want need one:
I never pictured the internet though. Or George Foreman grills. Those were a surprise to me.

Yeah I totally pictured flying cars and food that came in pill form. I thought the future would be more like the Jetsons. I also thought that when 2000 hit I'd be 23 and man that seemed OLD!

On not predicting the internet or George Foreman grills, you can't be too hard on yourself. you're not Nostradamous.
I always pictured wearing a lot of silver lamay. Well, at least I was right about *my* prediction.

Did anyone notice that the reflection of the girl watching TV is not the same girl as the one watching on the outside of the mirror? The one outside looks like she may be asian and the reflection looks like my sister-in-law who is hispanic. They seem to have gone out of their way to make it seem like the same girl, but I don't think it is. Just curious if anyone else noticed that.
