There's one in every gym class.
You can buy this, and many many other equally gagworthy Inspirational Jesus Sports Statues at catholicshopper.com. No offense to the sports-loving Christians out there. [thanks dm for the link]

He also looks like he's throwing some elbows in the soccar game.
I would never think of Jesus as a jock. But he would probably have a really obnoxious touch down dance.

I love these statues - I blogged about this a while ago too. I must say I think the selection is better at:
I like the martial arts Jesus and skiing Jesus. I wish I could tell whether he is actually wearing skis in the picture - they look like some kind of snow-sandal.

Oops I take it back, I see the other statues at catholic shopper. But does Catholic Shopper have the holy bears?? I'm not sure what makes them holy - I guess they have a halo sewn on their foot (where else?) and that does the trick.

I think they missed their chance of maximum saccharine, syrupy racially-integrated goodness.
Should have a been a bunch of rosy-faced kids of each racial type instead of a couple of chubby jinners.
Still buttock-clenchingly embarrassing all the same...

"Who's your Savior? Who's your Savior? Say it and you get your ball back!"
I have no idea what my blogger login is - I remember when this surfaced a while back among my crowd I edited a copy of it with that text or something very similar.
I'm sure it's still out there in AOL land somewhere. :)

If I see this a hundred times, on a hudred blogs, I would still have to stifle a giggle here at work. Ridiculously funny!

I prefer "Buddy Christ" from the movie Dogma. "Who's your buddy?"
