The Internet is Awesome PT. II

This might be the awesomest thing I've ever played with on the internet, although you need sound, and for some reason I can only get it to work in Firefox:

The Tone Matrix

What's even cooler:
Copy this line of numbers (Highlight and Ctrl+C), then go back to the Tone Matrix, right-click and select Paste for a special treat.

I'm a Firefox user and this doesn't work for me. Just a black page comes up. :(

Extremely cool. It's hard to make it sound bad. I've been playing with drawing pics in the pixels. Interesting.

I'm also a firefox user, having the same problem.

This is really cool! But how did you figure out which numbers correspond to tiles in the matrix? I want to know what my phone number, my social security number, my credit card number, etc sound like. Oh, but is pasting that into the matrix opening me up to all sorts of identity theft? Maybe I could just find the numbers that correspond with the prettiest tones to pick my ultimate series of lottery numbers.

I'm a firefox user (on a mac) and it worked just fine for me!

Firefox users, get yourself the Adobe flash and shockwave players. It works!

Dan - This is cool but I can't get your "paste" trick to work. What happens?

Someone please tell me how you're figuring the numbers corresponding to the matrix...can't figure it out. :(

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11:11 AM

That last one almost sounds like a heartbeat!

After you create a pattern on the matrix, right-click/copy anywhere on the pattern and paste it into Word to see the numbers that correspond to the picture you drew. It doesn't seem to work too well the other way, though. I don't think you can type a series of numbers in Word and successfully copy/paste to Tone Matrix as Radha suggested. Even pasting only partial sequences from what other posters have listed doesn't seem to work.
