Nature is kinda gruesome. I tend not to appreciate it as much as most people do. I'd rather just sit back and watch it from the safety of my internet:

Dang! This is why I can't stand to watch those nature shows!
I once spent an afternoon at work watching a hawk make a meal out of some baby sparrows in a nest. That poor mama bird was in a frenzy but the worst part was when she just gave up and flew off. My heart broke for her:(

we had a cat named jerome that had a bad heart and one day just didn't come home. three months later we were in the back yard having a campfire (beer and oldies-yeehaa) and my dog charles was hanging in my neighbor's hay field next door. charles came back and puked up something right next to my left shoe. i got the flashlight and yes it was jerome, or what was left of him after three months in a hay field. we said awwwww and charles was real proud he found jerome. sometimes nature's not pretty but most of the time it is.

i was fine until i saw that hawk with the decapitated mouse... and that damn mouse head, staring at me with that look of "wtf just happened here?" forever frozen into his little no-longer-attached face...
i think i'm gonna lose my breffesst...

I made an Easter card with pic of the dog holding the bunny remains. Just a simple "Happy Easter". I got mixed reviews but I thought it was hilarious.
