Freebies

I got some good free stuff in the mail lately. Too bad you ain't me. Check it out:

Fellow blogger Pierre unexpectedly got me the Airplane DVD for Christmas, which is doubly appropriate since it was on my Amazon wish list AND he is a pilot. Anyway, muchos gracias, Pierre. All I got him was a homemade Xmas mix CD. Um, awkward.

I got this weird Brother Sun Sister Moon DVD in the mail from Amazon.com the other day, but the strange thing is I never ordered it, I've never heard of it, and the packing slip has some other dude's name on it. So David Armstrong, if you're out there, I got yer DVD. I suppose I'll have to return it to Amazon.com, if only for the sake of good karma.

God knows who sent me this Poketo wallet designed by Luke Chueh. It came packaged with a button and has cute little animals illustrated all over it. As I said, I don't know who sent it to me or why I got it, but it's super hip and cool, and free, and therefore much appreciated. Thanks mystery gift-giver.

That actually reminds me. Last Christmas I got an anonymous letter in the mail, stating that if I believed in Santa hard enough I would get a very special imported Radiohead CD off of my Amazon.com wish list. But it's been over a year and the thing never arrived. Who's the gift tease out there? C'mon, fess up. Yer plan backfired because I definitely don't believe in Santa now.

Must be nice. All I get is bills and credit card offers. Oh, but HotBabe did send me the Time Life Treasury of Christmas, which was terrific! So, I can't complain too much. I'm kind of a'scared for you with the myster wallet giver...Yikes.

I think I watched "Brother Sun, Sister Moon" in religion class in high school. At least the title seems familiar...and I think there is a bare behind in it somewhere...maybe you should watch it before you return it!

The only mystery thing we got for Christmas was a card addressed to someone with a slightly similar address in OHIO! I mean, we live in NJ. Ohio...NJ...Man the postal system is slacking!

I like how Kiddo and HotBabe pretend not to be dating, yet all signs (and presents) point toward yes. Hmmmm, I didn't get anything from her and I was so nice to her earlier. Feel my wrath HotBabe. FEEL IT!!

Believe me, Brent, I *feel* it. And I LIKE it! So, I don't understand. Are you jealous that I didn't send *you* Time Life Treasury? You don't like Xmas music. I don't recall getting any calls or e-mails from you. Kiddo knows what I need, & he provides it.

But to all the others out there- so as to not ruin any dating possibilities for Kiddo- he likes boys... *a lot.* Maybe even more than I do. Well... OK that's a tie. We both really like boys.

For those of you not at Big Bowl for dinner with us the 30th, I confessed that I was the one that had Santa send the letter last year promising the Radiohead CD. Mystery over. But it was fun confessing. I had forgotten all about that letter. Guess that's why no CD ever arrived...
