Thanksgiving Wishes

Have a happy Thanksgiving weekend. Celebrate the intrepid bravery of our Pilgrim ancestors and give thanks for your plentitude by over-indulging to the point of engorgement, like only a proud American could.

[FP]

I will be bowling with my parents, as that has become the family tradition in the last couple years. No turkey or stuffing or football for dan, and that's something I'm truly thankful for. I think Thanksgiving dinner is barfy and football is coma-inducing. But I'll eat almost anything for a four-day weekend.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving Dan! I'm envious of the bowling tradition...

I'm thankful that this year I'm not going to be forced to watch the lame-ass parades and American Idol specials that blanket the television.

Bowling alleys are open on Thanksgiving?

What's with the look in this kid's eyes? Happy Thanksgiving!

nevermind the happy thanksgiving bullshit with all the turkey and stuffing...bottom line is that kid is creepy. what's with the evil stare eating pork and beans? cree-eepy

The kid just really likes his pork and beans is all.

Not only is this particular bowling alley open, but you get a free game with purchase of a meal in the adjoining dining room, where we partake in a thanksgiving meal.

I think the look in this child's eyes goes beyond really liking pork and beans. Like he's eating souls instead. It's as if Norman Rockwell started reading H.P. Lovecraft.

Dan, happy bowling.

Happy Thanksgiving All - even though I celebrated back in October (Canadian here). This is one of the more annoying US holidays as us folks up here north af the border are already gearing up for Xmas and all Thanksgiving has taken over the tube. Very confusing.
Oh well - the good thing is the Bond marathon on Spike TV - too bad it isn't a CSI marathon. Mmmmmmmm Grissom *drool* Geeks are HOT!

No turkey? No football?
How come no one told me Dan was a Godless communist?
Did they make your special 'Hammer & Sickle' bowling ball for you in Moscow, Comrade?

I really didin't like thanksgiving as far back as I can remember.I started shutting all the doors in the house when I was like 4 so the gagging smell of turkey would not reach the other areas of the house.25 years later I still shut all the doors even if we are going somewhere else for Thanksgiving. It really is an odd little family tradition I have kept alive over the years.I Probably have kept it going for the same reason I shut my eyes during the opening smoking sequence of night court.

Now Dan, I know you partake of Johns Turkey, ham, salad and such, which were once again awesome (mostly cuz I didn't have to cook a thing). All n all, TG was a pretty good day. We ate, we swam, we ate...not bad at all...and the triptifan setssssssiiinnnnnnn......{{{snore}}}.
