I've been back from Rome for over a week now, but I finally got a chance to put up a small photo gallery. I went with a group of more than twenty, so rather than get all of their permissions to put their pictures online, I just decided to put up pictures of myself and my surroundings, sans travel companions. So even though it might look like a sad and lonely trip, it was actually quite jam-packed with more than a few lovely individuals.
You can click on the image above to actually view the gallery. I'm also too lazy to write descriptions, so if you want to know what something is, just let me know.

Midget nun! I love Italian cypress trees. I can't find them for sale over here. My husband does business in Europe and he says that everything there is intricate and beautiful and over here there are cheap, metal buildings and cheap houses. I would be nice to live there.

If I had on those magnifying goggles and all that artwork around I would not have been able to leave. Looks like a great trip!

Sad and lonely doesn't begin to describe those photos. 'I visited a Catholic country after the rapture,' might come closer. Forget travel companions, where the hell did all the Romans and other tourists go?

Weird, my husband and I were in Rome and Florence the same dates you were there. I liked Florence a lot better than Roma, but the whole trip was a blast. I'll have to check our photos and see if you were in any of our crowd pics:)
