The Big Wu

We keep getting mail at my house for somebody named "The Big Wu". At first I thought maybe it was a reference to this guy:

...but then I remembered that he's The Big Ragu. There was a local band called The Big Wu if I remember correctly. But besides that I'm at a loss. So if anyone knows of a "Big Wu" residing in Minneapolis, tell 'em I got their mail.

The Big Wu is still a band. They are getting bigger (where have you been) especially now that Phish is gone. They're even looking for a Minneapolis intern (although I thought they were actually a Wisconsin band, but whatever) with computer skills. Too bad you already have a job, Dan. Maybe you ARE The Big Wu (Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain) and you just won't admit it.

Oh my god, someone quick tell my sister there is an opening for an internship with a band. She's probably never heard of them either, but no matter, she becomes boarderline obsessive upon meeting bands in person. I'm sure she could channel that energy to fetch a great cup of coffee or make band flyers in Microsoft Excel.

I'm so glad my awkward fascination with GG brought me to your site. Your musings rival Peggy Hill's. ("I've always said, the best way to start a fire is kindling.")

The Big Wu is the name of the volcano in Joe v. The Volcano (the best Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan movie, btw). Jump into the Big Wu!
