Gilmore Girls Round-up

It's been a while since we had a good ol' Gilmore Girls discussion, but since we got new fresh episodes in the mix for the next few weeks, I thought I would say that last night's episode felt as if it was laying the groundwork for a pretty dramatic season finale (the rumors have been flyin' on the innerwebs). My favorite parts of the episode were Paris' drunken barefoot quarter frenzy, and the fact that Lorelie actually went out of her way to spare her mother's feelings. But Lane thinking her boyfriend was going out with Carole King was pretty far-fetched, even while drunk, and the return of Dean was unwelcome and pointless (as if Luke would ever believe that Lorelie would find Stars Hollow "too slow").

Oh, and shut up you nonbelievers, Gilmore Girls is a good show. Even for grown men.

Did the little girl in the museum say:

"I love Cheese-its!" or
"I love Jesus!"

Either way, it is funny. Cheese-its are good. Don't deny it.

I have to admit I was a bit of a GGs skeptic but I watched an episode a couple weeks ago and enjoyed it.
Now I have to watch all the seasons before and get caught up...Thanks a lot.

Yeah - I too enjoyed Paris' barefoot begging for quarters incident. And who would think Zack would date Carol King? Is lane that insecure.

TV Guide had the GG on their cover last week and I almost bought it. I think there WILL be a dramatic season finale. I'm looking forward to it. And would they sex up Lane a little already? I mean she's ASIAN not a A-Sexual. Geez - who waits til marriage?

Before Dan claims Ivy is one of his favorite bands (they're not), I am going to throw out there that Jeremy has good taste in music. I am in love with "Apartment Life." Although, I don't know if I like their newest release. Perhaps I should listen to it more? Their cover of "L'Anamour" is one of the greatest songs ever. I could see that playing in the background on GG.

dan , you have me completely hooked on the gilmore girls. I never watched before and now am addicted. i'm even catching up by watching the abcfamily channel which is so wholesome it's creepy.

"I Love Jesus"... too funny
And the light shining on the little mute kid. I about rolled off my barkolounger!

Anyway, the Gilmore Girls is an awesome show. Being 30 and a male, I am probably out of its target demographic, but I love it anyway.

Dammit, I missed it this week. Any idea where to find a transcript or in-depth description of the episode? Since you seem to be up on the whole innerwebs thing, maybe you gots the hook-ups on this?

Ok, RANDOM but the Paris scene, barefott asking for change, was awesome because is mirrored a Gena Rowlands scene from "A Women under The Influence" I wouldn't have known had I not recently watched a Cassivetes special. But they had it DOWN and that was just another reason to love the girls... *sigh*

Oh, and the entire auto visual tour... rolling with laughter.

Gilmore Girls= amazing. I am at a loss for words to describe its intensity of amazing aspects, which is a rare occasion. Thank God Luke and Lorelai finally got together; I was always so anxious whenever she previously had a boyfriend. --A silly little girl named Jackie

Hi, this is for Cara, who may have already found her answer: Try www.televisionwithoutpity.com.

The site does brilliant 12-plus page recaps of hour long shows. (I'm guessing six pages for sitcoms, but we're talking GG here.) They're so well-written, I actually read the whole recap even when I catch the episode.

I thought it was so funny when Loralie showed Emily the magizine. Just think a 32 yearold women afraid of her mother. The way Loralie locked herself in a room and was pleading for forgivness from Emily,I thought she acted like a 5 yearold. But I still cann't believe Rory dropped out of Yale. I LOVE GILMORE GIRLS!!!

Jess and Rory are a perfect match! I had to stop watching season five and six because it is so sad to see them not together. I HATE LOGAN, he is a rich, snobby, stuckup, jerk and yells at Jess, who is being completley considerate towards Rory and Logan just screams at him. Logan is one of those boys who decides he wants a girlfriend but once college is over, he is gone and rory is alone. Jess has left rory but only because he was scared, he is a little independable but rory and him are in love and have chemistry and really need to be togther. If he isnt back with rory soon, i will never watch this show again. Did u know milo(jess) and alexis (rory) are dating in real life. Thats is perfect but they have to be toghter in the show, rory and him have been in love ever since there eys met.
